Game Format:
Two 15-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime break. No added time will be played.
Infractions and Free Kicks:
No penalties will be awarded. All infractions will result in an indirect free kick for the opposing team.
Substitutions:
Unlimited substitutions are allowed during the game.
Team Composition:
Teams will consist of 6 players on the field (6 v 6). Teams can roster no more than 8 players.
Game Ball:
A size 5 soccer ball will be used for all matches.
Goalkeepers:
No Goalkeepers. This is a small goal tournament.
Player Suspensions:
Red-carded players will be suspended and will miss their next scheduled game.
Alcohol/Firearms/Tobacco:
No alcohol, firearms, or tobacco are allowed at the venue.
Player Conduct:
No violent conduct will be tolerated. No arguing with the referees. Aggressive behavior towards referees will result in immediate removal from the park.
Tackling:
No slide tackles are allowed.
Game Start:
All games will start with a kickoff at the center circle. A coin toss will be used to determine who wins the kickoff.
These rules are designed to ensure fair play, safety, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Participants and spectators are expected to adhere to these rules for the enjoyment of all involved.
Team Composition (Coed):
Field players must consist of 4 men and 2 women. There must be a minimum of 2 female players on the field at all times. There can be no more than 4 male players on the field at all times. A female player cannot be substituted for a male player. A male player can be substituted for a female player.
This coed team rule is designed to promote gender diversity and equal participation among male and female players. It ensures a balanced composition of teams on the field, contributing to a fair and inclusive tournament environment.
Proof of Age:
This is an open tournament, however, players under 16 years of age must receive an approval by a parent or legal guardian. Players may be asked to provide proof of age at any moment throughout the tournament. Acceptable forms of proof may include government-issued identification, birth certificates, or other official documents verifying the player's age. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of age may result in disqualification from the tournament.
